On-demand porterage
For the jobs that come up without warning, we provide crews at short notice to handle a specific task: moving a boardroom, clearing a floor ahead of works, relocating storage or shelving, or shifting heavy and awkward items that an in-house team should not be lifting. You get a trained crew with the right equipment for the job, so the work is done safely and quickly rather than improvised by staff.
Contract and scheduled porterage
Larger organisations and busy sites often need porterage regularly rather than occasionally, so we also provide scheduled and contract porterage. That means an agreed arrangement for recurring internal handling, whether that is a standing slot each week, ongoing support for a facilities team, or cover for a campus or multi-floor building, delivered to a set process so the work is reliable and planned rather than arranged from scratch each time.
What porterage covers
Our porterage crews handle the full range of internal handling, including moving and repositioning furniture, clearing and setting up rooms, relocating equipment and storage between floors, supporting internal deliveries, and setting up and breaking down spaces for meetings, events or works. Where the task is a planned change to the layout rather than one-off handling, that is our internal moves and workplace reconfiguration service, and the two work together.
During the day or out of hours
Porterage can run during the working day where it does not disrupt the business, or out of hours where it would, so a floor can be cleared overnight or a room set up before staff arrive. We plan the timing around your operation and the building's access, loading and lift arrangements.
